General Notes:

Title Album: "The Bitter Truth"

Release Date: March 26, 2021

Singles: "Wasted On You", "The Game is Over", "Use My Voice" and "Yeah Right"

Previous Album: "Synthesis" (2017)

  • "Wasted On You," released on April 24, 2020, is the first single after their 2017 album "Synthesis." Produced by Nick Raskulinecz, the song wasn't planned on being the lead single for their album; nevertheless, as the lyrics best described the current times, it got released due to the pandemic.

  • The second single, "The Game is Over," was released on July 1, 2020. Its music video debuted on July 3. The song, produced by Nick Raskulinecz, is described as "a protest against the facades we are pressured to put on by society. In the face of depression and anxiety – and especially in a world that seems to crumble further each day – it's a cry to end the charade that everything's fine."

  • The third single, "Use My Voice," was released on August 14, 2010. It features background vocals from Lzzy Hale, Deena Jakoub, Lindsey Stirling, Taylor Momsen, Sharon den Adel, Jen Majura, Amy McLawhorn, and Amy Lee's sisters, Lori Lee Bulloch and Carrie South. The song has a powerful central message about speaking up and exercising the right to vote.

  • "Yeah Right" is the fourth track, released on December 4. Written by Amy Lee and Will Hunt and produced by Nick Raskulinecz, it was initially intended for their self-titled album. The final version waited ten years to be revamped on "The Bitter Truth."

The band released the album's tracklist on the same day, containing 12 new original songs.
