Since now, the American pop-rock band has released four studio albums: "Dreaming Out Loud" (2007), "Waking Up" (2009), "Native" (2013), and "Oh My My" (2016).

  • On May 17, 2019, OneRepublic released the single "Rescue Me." Thematically, the song describes the essential importance of a real relationship to human well-being.

  • "Wanted," the second single, was released on September 6. Lyrically, it follows the album's central theme, exploring the universal human need for meaningful companionship.

  • A promotional track, "Somebody to Love," marks the third single on the day of the season finale of "Songland," an American songwriting competition series on NBC.

  • "Didn't I" dropped on March 13, 2020. Its theme centers around a lost relationship. The song talks about the painful divorces of many people around Ryan Tedder: his friends, parents, and wife's parents.

  • The last one, "Better Days," released on March 25, 2020, was written in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic, with all proceeds donated to MusiCares. In addition to the original version, the band released two other versions. The first, on May 22, joined the Argentinian trap singer Khea. The second, on May 29, had the collaboration of the Italian band Negramaro.

Initially, "Human" was to drop on May 8, 2020. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the band announced that the album's release had been postponed.
